Casting Call: (Comedy) Billy

Billy is one of our co-protagonist with his best friend Jimmy. Billy is a classic stoner and a dreamer. He is a people person that gets along with everybody. He loves weed and natural products. In character terms he is the "lovable loser". He is non-confrontational but is often bullied by Ralph and Jack. He is Mary's love interest.

Audition Notes: Our hero Billy just experience some trauma. Mary attempts to lighten the mood.

MARY

So how has life been treating you sweetie? What's the latest venture of Billy Hustle?

JIMMY

You don't want to know.

BILLY

Dude your vibes are not wavy. I've been grinding. I've been learning how to make natural products. I making a cream that stops yall balls from getting dry.

MARY

Umm...That's nice. I guess they need to be shiny. Ashy balls might be a turn off.

BILLY

They sure are. Mine reflect the moonlight.

JIMMY

I don't want to hear you talk about balls with my sister.

BILLY

We are talking about ball health. It is your mind that is in the gutter. This is business. I might be thinking about a merger with this beautiful young lady.

JIMMY

Stop drooling...

MARY

Stop hating...

Billy smiles and sticks his tongue out at Jimmy. Jimmy growls at Billy.

MARY

I wish I could come up with a good idea like that. I literally just work all the time.

BILLY

Come on, I know you got talents. You just have to express yourself. Do something you've never done before. Jump on a stage, make a song or a poem.

MARY

I used to like poetry when I was little. It's been a long time though.

BILLY

That is amazing. Let me hear some. I already know its good.

MARY

Not now silly. Maybe later. It's been so long.

BILLY

Oh, man that is cool. I'm going to hold you to that later

JIMMY

I can't take y'all.

BILLY

I can't help it that Mary is the most beautiful girl in the world.

Mary and Jimmy stop in their tracks. Billy turns around slowly.

BILLY

Did I say that out loud?

JIMMY

You definitely did.

MARY

It's okay, thank you. Your not so bad yourself.

Jimmy starts to laugh hard.

JIMMY

Friend zoned...

MARY

I didn't mean it like that. Billy is handsome.

BILLY

You hear that ugly boy. I'm handsome.
